Location

Los Naranjos, Boquete, Chiriqui, Panamá (GPS: 8°48'10. 82°27'08., 3)

Description

Los Ladrillos has many routes to climb, for this post we are just going to focus on the sectors: Gunko and Mana.

Gunko was first bolted in 2004 and Mana in 2006 by Gary Henning, Christian Schieffer and Cesar Melendez.

The routes at Gunko are easier on the left side of the face, the right side formed by horizontal columns is about technic and balance on sloppy holds.

Mana is the place for more advanced climbers. The routes are vertical basalt columns with grades going up to 5.13.

The routes are short, up to 20 meters of height.

Access

The access to the rock is public and the cars can be parked on the side of the road.

To get to Mana, from Gunko, walk 3 minutes up the road towards Los Naranjos, the rock is just in front of the bridge that crosses the Rio Caldera.
